Financial Statements

1) GENERAL INFORMATION
TheCompany is a public limited liability company, incorporated and domiciled inMalaysia. The
Company transferred its listingstatus fromACEMarket toMainMarketofBursaMalaysiaSecurities
Berhad on 18thFebruary 2013.
The Company is principally an investment holding company. The principal activities of the
subsidiariesareasdisclosed inNote9 to theFinancialStatements.Therehavebeennosignificant
changes in the nature of these principal activities during the financial year.
The registered office of theCompany is located at Level 8, SymphonyHouse, Pusat Dagangan
Dana 1, JalanPJU 1A/46, 47301Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
The principal place of business of theCompany is located at No: 35-1, JalanBandar 16, Pusat
Bandar Puchong, 47100Puchong, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
The financial statements are presented inRinggit Malaysia (RM).
The financial statements of theGroup and of theCompany have been authorised by theBoard
of Directors for issuance on 29thApril 2014.
2) BASISOFPREPARATIONOFTHEFINANCIALSTATEMENTS
The financial statements of the Company have been prepared in accordance with Malaysian
Financial ReportingStandards (MFRS), International Financial ReportingStandards (IFRS) and
the requirements of theCompaniesAct, 1965 inMalaysia.
Adoptionof Standards,Amendments and IssuesCommittee (“IC”) Interpretations
At thebeginningof the current financial year, theGroupand theCompany adopted thenewand
revisedMFRSswhich aremandatory for the financial periods beginning on or after 1st January
2013.
Theaccountingpoliciesadoptedby theGroupand theCompanyareconsistentwith thoseadopted
in the previous year, except as follows:
